Marijan Skvorc – Croatia
Marijan Skvorc started poultry farming in 2004 when he built a 25,000-head broiler house. After 10 years of successful business, he added another house in 2018, growing total bird capacity to over 50,000 chickens.
He installed watering lines and feed lines, radiant brooders, and other VAL-CO products in his houses. So far, he has been very satisfied with old GainTrac and new Ventra Pro Controllers. The watering line and nipple drinkers work well. The feed pans are great for birds of all ages and as a result of using the VAL-CO system, the farm has achieved a feed conversion rate of 1.51.
Marijan has a recipe for success. He says growers must always be present on the farm and regularly check equipment. Cleanliness is very important so it should be maintained at a high level in order to be successful in poultry business. Little things can make a big difference and impact the final result, so you have to be hardworking and dedicated to work.
