The new community nest from VAL-CO™ is an attractive and comfortable nest that provides easy access for your hens and minimizes floor eggs. Our community nest is made with long-lasting, durable components and is designed for quick assembly. Inside the nests, perforated mats enhance egg cleanliness, while providing a gentle but positive transfer to the egg belt. This new nest can be used for either a high-rise or a floor mounted installation. Available in side- and center-belt configurations.
The center belt automated nests are a proven design with coated bottom and gradual slope for gentle egg rollout to prevent cracks and checks. Hinged perches provide easy closeout. The steep roof and unique anti-roost guard prevent roosting and debris build-up. Large ventilation holes allow fresh airflow.
The side belt automated nest has hinged closeout lids to restrict access and unique anti-roost guard with folded edges. Steep roof design reduces dirt and debris build-up. Ventilated partitions allow fresh airflow. Molded plastic bottoms are contoured to fit the natural shape of the hen and are available with turf or finger pads.
VAL-CO™ conventional nests are available with 10 or 12 bird compartments. They are easy to assemble, have snug-fitting, removable galvanized bottoms, and have hinged perches for nest closeout, helping to keep your birds out of the nest.
VAL-CO™ egg collection tables are galvanized and powder painted for heavy steel construction. All models have pinch roll drives with cast iron bearings and are designed for easy maintenance and adjustable height. Self-adjusting counterweight belt tensioners and adjustable belt tracking extends egg belt life. Large removable debris trays provide easy cleaning.
